Devoured: The Serpent and the Pomegranate review #ad
Hi fellow readers!
As you may already know, Manta currently has the “Press Play on BL” event. Several BL titles are being promoted and you can enjoy a lot of free episodes!
Today I’m reviewing Devoured: The Serpent and the Pomegranate
Disclosure: this is an ad
Summary:
In Trastasa, god Amon rules with his human-hearted consort Na-in. Among his devoted Lesha, a new arrival, Rhan Gwen with rare pink hair, captivates him. Consumed by jealousy, Na-in secretly seeks Gwen, and love and despair begin to unravel his once perfect life.
This is a historical, non-Asian story. Na-in one of the MLs is a kind spirit. He has a small frame, with delicate features, and very beautiful. Amon, the other ML is a god and he’s a bit crude. He’s one of those MLs who seems a bit uninterested in the beginning. As the story progresses, you start seeing glimpses here and there of how he cares for Na-in. However, his cold demeanor confuses Na-in. He’s a big, possessive, and attractive ML.
The art is GORGEOUS. The characters are drawn so beautifully that it doesn’t disappoint at all.
You can find the full version with some very spicy scenes; and the regular version without anything explicit if that’s not your thing ;)
I’m curious to know what path the story will take. The third character introduced in the first episodes definitely means there will be a love triangle. If you’re more of a romantic type, this title might not be the best one to binge. But I think it’s worth giving it a try, you might be surprised!!
