Has anyone taken legal action against NYCE PPO for unjustly denying their claims?

Hello everyone, new account, so I don't post personal details on my main one. But I have a severe physical disability, and I get my health insurance through my dad, who was in the FDNY. The new NYCE PPO has fully denied me my nursing services I've had since I was two, and it has been proven necessary. It's been a month now, and I've been getting pretty sick from not having my services, and they have denied my appeal. I'm working on an external appeal, but I'm tired of this and need to take action against them, and it's unacceptable that they can do this.

From other people I know and posts I've seen online, this seems to be a widespread issue. Is there any precedent for taking legal action against them? What is happening is insane.
