Baby is due in about 2 months and I’m trying to figure out what car seat/stroller setup to buy without overcomplicating it.

Ideally I want something that works as close to an “all in one” system as possible:

• DURABLE AND HIGH QUALITY
• infant car seat that clicks into the stroller
• easy to carry car seat
• bassinet/pram option for newborn walks
• stroller that works beyond the newborn stage
• not insanely heavy or bulky
• easy to fold into the car
• good for Canadian winters/rough sidewalks
• decent resale value if possible

I keep seeing UPPAbaby, Nuna, Cybex, Maxi-Cosi, Graco and Evenflo mentioned, but I can’t tell what’s actually worth the money.

For those who’ve already bought one:

What travel system did you get, and would you buy it again?
Anything you regret buying or wish you had chosen instead?

Also, baby is coming in about 2 months. Should I buy now or wait for Black Friday? Do car seats/strollers actually get worthwhile Black Friday discounts in Canada, or is it better not to wait?

as a research support staff for a professor in an academic university, I worked in developing a research proposal and did all the initial project conceptualization. I am not listed as a collaborator as I left. can i ask to be listed as collaborator? do i get authorship when research gets published?
