Glendale Woman Putting Toxic Items in Yard for Dogs

Two days ago, I was walking my dog down Doran St near Doran Gardens Mini Park when my dog reached down and started eating a chicken bone he found on the grass in front of 341 W Doran St. I managed to get it out of his mouth and we continued on. Yesterday, we were walking back the same way when he snatched another nearby. This time, he tried to swallow it before I could get it out of his mouth and started briefly choking (we are working on "drop it" / "leave it"). I became panicked and a woman in a house nearby heard what was happening and ran outside with some water for him. She explained that the woman in the house next door spreads chicken bones and grapes all over the part of her yard in between the sidewalk and the street. She then went and scoured over the yard and, sure enough, found at least 7 grapes.

Just a warning to all the dog parents to avoid that house / don't let your dogs walk or linger in that patch of grass.

Muscle Pain vs. Diverticulitis

Hi All - I know no one can diagnose over the internet. I have a gastro appt scheduled for Tuesday and the only option until then would be to go to the ER, so I just wanted to jump in and ask about my symptoms to see if they sounded emergency worthy to anyone here.

About 3ish days ago, I woke up in the middle of the night with some sharp pain in my lower left abdomen / side. I went to the bathroom, thinking that would help, but it didn't. Since then, the pain has continued, but ONLY when I move / twist / take a deep breath or press my abdomen. It also sometimes radiates to the left side of my lower back with certain positions. Sitting up straight causes pain as does laying on my back and stomach, but there's no pain when I lay on either side. If I'm sitting in one position, I don't feel it at all / can forget about it unless I take a really deep breath. It is unaffected by eating / drinking. I have no nausea or vomiting or fever. Tylonal has helped the pain a lot.

With all that said, I have struggled with constipation for awhile. I was recently on a few doses of strong antibiotics which slowed things down and I've been trying to get back to normalcy ever since.

I had a different appointment this week and mentioned it to my doctor who suggested it was muscular, but I just wanted to jump in here and see if this pain sounds at all familiar? Would diverticulitis pain only hurt upon movement / pressure or does it exist all the time?

Thank you so much and sorry to infiltrate the space / community!
