Wondering if this is common

So i'm a 20 year old straight male who hasn't been in a relationship for a while, it's been 2 years now. I won't go into it, that's not what i'm here for. But i was thinking about something.

the last girl i dated i had a lot of firsts with, first real girlfriend, first kiss that wasn't on the cheek, i had never been alone with a girl.

I had a massive crush on her. When we first met my mind, eyes, just everything was on her and only her, i just wanted to be around her and nothing else.

So i was always super attracted to her physically, and personality wise she very evenly split 50/50. Our first kiss was a couple days into dating, massive nerves of course, we were alone in my car. She kissed me.

... and i didn't really feel anything.

we cuddled afterwards and i sat with it while holding her, and there was nothing. It didn't feel wrong in any way, maybe i did feel something, i did feel warm but that's about it from what i remember, but not really special in any way.

I find it weird though cause everything else we did i felt nothing but butterflies.
We kissed plenty afterwards, my favourite one i remember clearly, i didn't expect her to and it caught me off guard, but that's what i loved about it. That one felt a lot better than that first one.

SO, my question is, is this common? Do first kisses normally feel that way, maybe it was just high expectations since i had never done it before?
i want to know.

tl;dr
