Physically Injured by Job, Scared of losing job, Hopeless on next steps.
I'm 21, physically fit, have done a collection of both white collar and blue collar work my whole life. I moved to the Denver metro plex area at the starting of this year and have been pretty well off until this week, my job requires me to work at supermarkets and do physical labor, which isnt the worst, but during this summer ive been working average days of 12/14/16 hour days and its been taking a hard toll on my body. I recently got injured on the job and its been effecting my ability to work. Just last night, I worked 16 hours, I was supposed to be supported but everyone left and called out this day, and it was alot on my body, i was struggling to even push products around the store because ive been having to do it with 1 leg only. Today, I decided to call out because as of writing this i am feeling pain throughout my entire body, and i was getting cramps throughout my sleep, i was expected to show up at 6am despite clocking off at 11:30pm. My Boss told me to call him asap and explained to me that the time i got off was not an excuse and that I have to go get my injury situated with a coach on our job, the problem was I was told this coach was gonna visit me today and he never ended up doing that. Now my situation is being reported to HR and I am in major fear of losing my job rn. I always downplay my own situations because I'm sure someone has it worse than me, but I seriously need help. I have autism and adhd (and I refuse to use it as an excuse) and jobs have always been a battle for me, and I thought I was doing amazing here but the comments of "lack of performance" at multiple locations weekly are getting to me. I desperately wanna figure something out, I think the field of work I'm in is too extreme for both my mental and physical, but it pays generally decent. If anyone can locate me to jobs and companies I would be majorly appreciative, I feel so overwhelmed thinking about all these companies and if they would even consider me, and I feel that reading some comments and applying to what's considered for me would be my best shot. If you managed to read all of this, Thank you so much.
