I always seem to find myself randomly thinking about this and I still don’t have a concrete answer. This is gonna drive me mental.
Hey everyone, I’m newer to art and I am trying to improve. I’ve been drawing every day now for about a month, and this is one of the few pieces that I don’t hate (no reference btw). I find that it looks a little bit “flat” like it’s missing something, or that I did something wrong.
Would love to hear your thoughts, opinions, and critiques so I can apply it in future drawings :)

Hey everybody, I am completely new to drawing and art. It’s always been interesting to me on how people can draw these amazing pieces, and I want to give it an actual shot this summer.
This is everything I have drew so far, but I want to be pointed in the right direction going forward. I love anime style pieces, specifically characters, but as you can see, it’s not the best 😓
I’m kind of a little nervous showing these, but I’m hoping that I could get some feedback and advice.
