Can I chemically loosen my curls/waves to get hair like the last 2 pics? (Please read before replying)

The first 2 pics are my hair now, and the last 2 are the kind of hair I want. Still curly/wavy, just looser and less tight than mine currently is.

I’m posting here because this was the closest community I could find for this kind of question, so if there’s a better subreddit for this let me know.
I’m wondering if there’s a chemical treatment that could loosen my texture to that point without fully straightening it. I’ve been looking into texturizers since they seem lower maintenance than a full relaxer, and I wouldn’t have to keep going to a salon every couple months.

Also respectfully, I’m not looking for “don’t do it, you already have good curls” comments. I just want to try something different for once.

So:
Could a texturizer get me close to the last 2 pics?
Is there a better treatment for this?
Can this be done without completely damaging my hair?
And could it be done at home?

Any advice from people with experience would help a lot. Thank you
