It’s my 1 and a half month sa first job ko. Mon-Fri, working 10hrs a day kasi compressed. Sa isat kalahating buwan ko, makaka-8 SURPRISE OT na ako. Mga ilan din yung natanggihan kong surprise OT at pagpasok ng Saturday. All OT announcements ay sasabihin lang pag uwian na. Also, our tasks are very REACTIVE, laging urgent kuno and always sa hapon nabibigay yung tasks kung kailan malapit na maguwian. Pinaka late na time-out ko is beyond 12AM. Btw its an office engr work.

I don’t know if most construction companies are like this? Or just because of my boss? Kasi department lang namin ata laging surprise OT sa company. Bayad nga OT but sometimes I have prior commitments na nasisira and I choose rest over OT pay.

Planning to quit if magcontinue pa yung work culture na ganito. Need tips. TYIA

Hello! I’ve been working in this company for 1month and a week. It is my first job after graduating and passing the boards last year. It’s an office engineer job. Currently, I’m not that happy and not enjoying my stay here. I can say that what I do is more on printing and printing and printing plans and building permit requirements. Most of my assigned tasks are just “copy paste mo lang dito”. Software training is very minimal and not in depth. I don’t know if it’s too early for me to look for growth. I feel like I don’t maximize my degree and license (I even ask myself na pang engineer ba trabaho ko). My bosses don’t have work-life balance.. like every week may overtime and sasabihin lang na OT pag uwian na. I even experienced working for almost 20hrs. This company also has many issues hahaha alam ko na beforehand. Nag take lang ako ng risk.

I need your genuine opinions and tips guys. Pls respect. TYIA
