Easisest Gen ed Category A class to take

I'm currently enrolled in CTCS 190 but I heard from multiple people that the class is quite difficult. I had a hard time choosing which gen ed class to take since I'm not very artistic. What's the easiest class I can take in category A?

USC parkside AH suite dimensions

Hello! Im an incoming freshman and got assigned to parkside AH suites. I was wondering if anyone knows what the dimensions are for the room and how big the closet is. I want to start buying things but dont want to get anything too big, i was also planning on getting an additional clothing rack since i have alot of clothes but idk if that will be necessary if the closet is big enough. I also dont really know what the general vibe is for parkside ah, but ive heard its socially dead and kind of secluded from the rest of campus. Also are the floors co-ed? And is there a kitchen area for everyone to use? Any information ab the suites and housing in general will be super helpful, thanks!

Too many classes as a freshman? (virtebi - AI major)

I’m an incoming freshman and I’m currently planning to take:

CSCI 113x – Programming Fundamentals for Computing

MATH 226 – Calculus III

CTCS 190 – Introduction to Cinema

WRIT 150

I’m considering adding PHYS 151 (Fundamentals of Physics I), but I’m not sure if that would be too much for my first semester.

My thinking is that CTCS 190 and WRIT 150 won’t be nearly as demanding as the STEM classes, so my main workload would be CSCI 113x, Calc III, and Physics. Looking over the syllabi, CSCI 113x and Calc III don’t seem unmanageable, and I also have a pretty strong interest in physics, so I don’t think I’d struggle too much with the material.

The main thing I’m worried about is protecting my GPA. I don’t want to overload myself during my first semester and mess up my gpa.

The reason I’m considering taking Physics now is that my current spring plan is even heavier. Right now it includes CSCI 114x, Linear Algebra, CSCI 170, and five total classes. I feel like adding Physics to that semester would make it much more difficult, so I’m wondering if it makes more sense to spread the workload out by taking Physics in the fall instead.

For people who have taken these classes, would adding PHYS 151 to this schedule be reasonable, or is that too much for a first semester?

(20 credits total)
