Speakers pop when turning the ignition off

Hello, I’ve got a 2014 Mazda SP25 GT and I’ve just deleted the factory Bose amplifier and put in a Helix P Six DSP MK2. I’ve kept the factory head unit installed. Only issue is when I turn the ignition off there is a very loud pop

I’ve tapped the amps REM wire into the OEM Bose amps REM wire (2D). I’ve soldered in RCA cables onto the OEM speaker channels (The signal is a Low Level Differential Signal). Ground is to bare metal (sanded down), power is 4ga from battery.

Here’s what I’ve done:
- Ran new REM wire from Cigarette lighter. Still pops exactly the same
- Unplugged RCA’s: stops the pop (assuming because there’s no signal to amplify)
- switched off the rem wire first then turned the car off. Fixed the pop

To me it sounds like the amp is turning off after the head unit. But the REM wire is switched to the ACC position.

Just wondering if there’s any known solutions to this? LOC? Using the high level inputs? (I’m guessing this would fix it due to signal sensing but I’m guessing I’d need to amp up the low level differential signal somehow). Upgrading the head unit to one with proper RCA’s? Or is it my differential signal being tapped into the RCA’s causing it?
Any insight would be really greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I’ve got A 2014 Mazda SP25 GT with factory Bose audio. The factory amp is under the seat and I am planning to delete it and put in a Helix P Six DSP MK2. This amp has high level inputs and line inputs (RCA).

My hurdle is I’m keeping the OEM head unit which has no RCA outputs. Upon some research, the head unit outputs a Low Level Differential signal to the factory amp and I am a bit confused on whether or not I connect the outputs of the head unit to the high level input on the helix or if I splice and solder RCA’s to the OEM speaker wires that normally go to the Bose amp and route them to the helix Line Input.

I feel I should be soldering RCA’s and using Line input but it does feel a bit dodgy. How would you go about it?

Thanks!
