AITA for being upset with my sister for her bfs actions?

Hii!! I apologize before hand if this is messy to understand I’m struggling to explain this story because it upsets me so much. I tried to put my thoughts into words as best I could.

I honestly don’t know where to start in this story because it is a mess but anyways I (18F) have a twin sister (18F) who recently got a boy friend (19M) I think it’s important to note he lives in a different state so I personally have never spoken to this man. Also, even though they live in different states they know what each other look like and face time all the time and stuff. Anyways, this all started a few days ago whenever I saw her texting her boyfriend.

Whenever I looked at the messages between her and her boyfriend I saw that he had typed the N- Word to be clear he is not black at all. Whenever I confronted her about this she defending him saying that he grew up around black people and that he’s ’uneducated’ even though he’s damn near 20 and should be educated about the N-word and its effects on black people. Also not sure if this is important or not but since this first time I’ve found out he says it a lot this wasn’t a one time thing.

Anyways, since then I haven’t spoken to her and I’ve basically cut her off but since I’ve told our mutual friends about this I’ve been told I’m overreacting and it’s her boyfriends action not hers I feel like I’m not overreacting because she’s actively defending racist behavior.

AITA?
