Seeking advice on finding employer sponsorship opportunities

Hi everyone,

I'm exploring employer-sponsored visa pathways such as the 482 and eventually the 186 visa as a Systems Analyst.

My background includes systems analysis, business requirements gathering, stakeholder management, system documentation, testing, and IT support. I also have Australian work experience and am actively applying for roles across Australia, particularly in Adelaide and other regional areas.

For those who successfully obtained employer sponsorship in IT:

• Which job boards were most effective?

• Which companies are known to sponsor Systems Analysts or similar IT roles?

• Did you apply directly or through recruiters?

• How did you approach the sponsorship conversation with employers?

• Are there any recruiters or agencies that specialise in sponsored IT positions?

I'd really appreciate hearing about your experiences, recommendations, or any advice that could help.

Thank you.

Opinions about Y-Axis Immigration

Hi everyone,

I'm living in Australia, and working in IT as a Systems Analyst. I am exploring my options for permanent residency, and have been speaking with Y-Axis Immigration about their services.

Before I commit to anything, I would like to hear from people who have actually used them.

Here are my questions:

  1. Were they professional and responsive throughout the process?

  2. Did they provide useful advice that you couldn't easily find yourself?

  3. How was the communication after you paid their fees?

  4. Were there any hidden costs or unexpected issues?

  5. If you used them for Australian visas (189, 190, 491, 482, or 186), would you recommend them?

  6. Did anyone have a negative experience or regret using them?

I have been digging and seeing mixed reviews online. I'm hoping to hear some real experiences from people who have dealt with them directly.

Thanks in advance for any insights.
