No Coolant In My Sambar
Hello, I've had a Sambar for a couple of years. Bought it from a guy who did his own repairs and seemed knowledgeable and legit. Truck has been great up until the end of last year. Randomly dying under load, blew a computer fuse and wouldn't start. I finally checked the coolant as I suspected it was over heating (though the gauge never really made me think this) and found the coolant reservoir under the seat empty. The secondary reservoir in the rear was also empty. I've filled, burped, and filled again with distilled water and have finally gotten it back full with a green tint (I guess there was some coolant in the block [?]) and I don't see any leaks. I did notice some exhaust tint since purchased during start up but I thought it was oil as it certainly burns oil. The only other weird thing is after I needed it towed back home one day there was a puddle of what I assume is coolant under the secondary rear reservoir. I'm no mechanic and am learning as I go. Any suggestions or ideas are appreciated!
