I had the pleasure to pick up my new 1390 RR this week. After riding it a little bit I find the display (8.8 inch with touchscreen) is incredibly difficult to read due to the low brightness of the screen in various weather conditions. In the manuals I found that the screen brightness is only automatically adjusted with the help of light sensors. Has anyone experienced this same issue on newer 990 models or also a 1390RR and has anyone found a workaround? Thinking about installing a potentiometer (if possible) to be able to manually adjust the light sensor readings if I can get a hold of electrical schemes and details. Before doing this I am curious about your experience or solutions with these bikes and their displays.
