I lost the key to my KTM Amparo XL 8-RT, and I don't know what to do, is there any way I can get a new key or somehow remove the battery and change the lock or literally anything? Thanks for any advice.

I'm replacing the cluch, is all this play normal?
Halfway through my oil change my 2nd drain plug underneath does not want to come out. It is under the exhaust so it’s hard to get a good grip on with a socket. I’ve tried heat, and an Allen Wrench. It’s starting to get a little rounded and I don’t want to completely strip it.
I think if I got the exhaust off I’d have a better shot at getting it off. Is that easy?
What do you guys think about just saying f it and leave it? Swap my other filter/screen, fill it back up and move on with my life. Then for the next oil change I’ll take it to a shop and let them deal with it.
Hey everyone, I’m in the middle of a sprocket and chain swap on my KTM Duke 390 (both front and rear). I ordered all the parts online, but the rear sprocket got delayed a week.
The question is: is the sprocket I currently have still healthy and safe to use, or should I just wait for the new sprocket to arrive before I install everything? Thanks in advance!
Hello all.
I will be selling KTM 990 RC R KTM decal fills.
I personally bought the Bello Moto ones and were not happy with them.
Ours were hand traced to fit perfectly inside the KTM logo, and will include transfer tape, which in my opinion is crucial to having a successful application.
If you are interested, DM me. We are able to produce quickly but it's still just me and my wife doing this as a passion project, and cuz I don't really think the other decals kits are that great.

I prefer the ones that come under the bottom and slash out or under tails.
Hey everyone,
I've been having problems with the quickshifter ever since I bought the bike used, and I'm trying to figure out what's causing it.
The issue mainly occurs at higher RPMs (around 8,000 RPM and above). When I use the quickshifter, it will sometimes fail to engage the next gear and instead end up in what feels like a false neutral.
For example, today I shifted from 3rd to 4th at high RPM. The shift didn't complete, and the bike was stuck in a false neutral. Opening the throttle just caused the engine to rev freely as if it was in neutral. The only way I could get it back into gear was by pulling in the clutch and shifting manually.
More commonly, the bike briefly goes into this false neutral, and because I'm still on the throttle, the engine hits the rev limiter. A moment later, the transmission jolts and either finally engages the intended gear or, occasionally, drops back into the lower gear instead.
Has anyone experienced something similar? Could this be a quickshifter sensor adjustment issue, a clutch problem, or something related to the shift drum or shift forks? Any advice on what to check first would be appreciated.
Greetings
I noticed today on my motorcycle that the high-beam switch does not work. The parking light works without any problems and the switch for the light horn also works and the light also shines. Only the switch for continuous high beam is not possible.
Why can this be that it doesn't work with the switch and how do I fix it?

I have a 2026 790 Adventure with the technology pack. Is the navigation supposed be available when KTM connect is running on my phone and the phone connected to the bike?
I am in canada if that matters.
Trying to work out the best way to mount my number plate. I don’t really want to put screws through the rear guard, and I’m worried it’ll end up snapping off. Any suggestions? Cheers.
I previously had a 690SM, Hypermotard 821, and Yamaha FJ-09. Ive had a picture of an 1190 Adventure R saved on my phone for 4 years, its always been my dream bike. I finally got one about a year ago and its been... not great.
A month or 2 in, I blew a rear tire at 70 mph. It was a relatively slow leak so not a big deal but, annoying. So I bought 2 new tires, had the rear replaced, and then did the front a while later.
Then I had to move from Tampa Bay to rural NC. Super excited to be out of the heat and traffic. My dumb self thinks I can ride up the ramp and into a penske truck, resulting in a 6 foot fall to concrete with 500 lbs of metal chasing me down. Some stitches, a couple weeks of barely walking, and a new set of handlebars later, I finally get to go for a long ride.
Im riding for an hour, everything is great. I get on the brakes for a red light, and the front end goes all over the place. I kept it upright and got it to the side of the road and the brand new, maybe 60 mile tire was completely off the bead. Luckily I brought my little ryobi compressor and was able to reseat the tire and pump it up. But after 2 hours of considering, I had my wife come with the truck and carry it home.
Its now been 9 days and the front tire hasn't lost a single psi. There are no punctures and i have no idea what caused it to go flat. Im terrified to ride it on the suspicion that the front tire blows out at speed and I face plant a truck at 60. I understand none of these problems are actually the bikes fault, the motor and everything else about it have been fantastic. But the whole experience with my dream bike just really sucks and makes me think I should just sell it and start over. Womp womp.
If this is true I think it's great. No reason to charge extra on a premium bike for features it already has
