NEXT BIKE? (from 2021 390 advenure)
So I've been riding my ktm 390 adventure for 2 years, I loved it for what it was - comfortable on the road, decent on highway and OK off-road. But recently noticed that I don't ride that much on highway.
I am much more happy offroad, but city commuting is still a big part of my riding, also occasional highway is still there, but I much rather take a longer ride of "b roads" where 90km/h is a limit. I feel like I don't need much more power, although little more power would be nice... I am thinking more about weight, even that I am an average height (183cm), I have short legs and 390 adv with rally seat, I tip toe the bike and it's a bit uncomfortable off road. Also it's wide and big bike (compared to what it is), I am leaning towards 390 enduro R, but don't think it will much of a change..
I like abs, traction control and all those modern features, but I don't know if I would miss them, tbh. Maybe someone could share their experiences transitioning from the same bike or have any suggestions? Thanks!

Second thoughts on Duke/Adv
Need help of seasoned KTM owners.
The initial plan was to get Triumph Scrambler, but it felt boring/ no tech.
Went to KTM, test rode both of the 350s. A very tough decision to make between the two. While I love the way the Duke handles and fits to my body, I’ll also be travelling a lot on the weekends, half of the times with a pillion.
But I’ve heard the harder part is maintaining them. What is the maintenance on these like? What would it cost me in the long term?
Also, I have a habit of riding in higher gears, something which people say shouldn’t be done on KTMs. What % of truth does this hold?

I'm about to walk into a dealership to buy an old new stock '24 1290 SAS. Whatta ya say?
I'm convinced it's my dream bike. I've done the research and despite the grumples of electrical stuff and warranty complaints, I just have the gut feeling that this is going to be the daily grin-inducing machine I've been wanting: Arm-ripping power for the interstate commute, and just enough off-road capability to do any of the light-duty stuff I need like forest roads.
From what I've gleaned, so long as I keep the battery healthy and keep up with maintenance like a good boy (I'm actually a masochist for maintenance wrenching and enjoy bleeding brakes) then the bike should be able to ride me into five-figure millage dream land.
Anything I've not considered?

- Is there any chance of duke 490 launching in 2027?
2.Will it have 60bhp?
3.could it be a 590 instead?
TVS will just use bmws engine in their 420cc twin so same bhp but with way higher price are overloaded features that don't make much of a difference(same is true for ktm with their electronics)
So I was wondering if a bike thats being made in india would be able to extract 60bhp from a 500cc twin that doesn't have to stick to Europes A2 laws on road price would be under or about 5lakh
