Need ideas, new goal?
Long time single-player D2 player here. I’ve been playing on and off for the past year and have built up a decent roster so far: 94 Hammerdin, 92 Lightning Sorc, 92 Javazon, 87 WW Hork Barb, and recently a Smiter that I leveled specifically for Uber farming.
My original plan with the Smiter was to either push him to level 90 or keep farming until I found a solid Exile base. I ended up hitting 90 without finding one, so I decided to just try Ubers anyway using HoZ instead of Exile. Honestly, it went way smoother than expected, which now makes me feel a bit unsure if Exile is even worth the runes for me.
Yesterday I managed to kill Ubers twice for the first time ever and got a 19/19 Amazon Torch and a 17/14 Paladin Torch. Really happy with those results.
Before this, my main long-term goal was farming a Lo rune for Grief on my WW Hork Barb, which I finally achieved as well. But now that I’ve done Ubers and gotten some decent torches, I’m kind of unsure what my next goal should be.
Anyone else hit that point in single player where you suddenly feel a bit directionless after reaching the goals you were grinding toward?
