Rubbing disc brake
I bought a used bike about half a year ago and wanted to service the brakes for the first time, as they became very spongy (the brake handle would touch the handlebar).
The bike has a SRAM Red etap (non AXS) HRD monoblock caliper.
I switched out the brake pads, bled the brakes, still had a very soft (and late) brake point. I noticed the pistons would barely move, so I massaged them (and added a drop of DOT 5.1 brake fluid to the pistons side), and now they move out much smoother and further. The brake point now feels good, but the pads rub against the disc. When looking at it from the side there is no space between the disc and the pads on either side.
I have tried moving the caliper by softening the screws and readjusting the position of the caliper (also tried it while holding the brake), but that did not help.
Now I am kind of lost on what to do. Any ideas what might help me?
