Does anyone know how I can fix my brittle hair and bald spots? Desperate for advice

Hi everyone! I’m really struggling with my hair health right now, and I need some advice. I’ve always had dry/brittle hair because I’ve used heat on it daily and dyed/bleached it multiple times since I was in middle school (I’m now in my 20s). My hair is naturally curly, but I blow it out every day because my curly hair gives me sensory issues. I made another post in r/Haircare about getting a Dyson to reduce the amount of damage I do to my hair everyday, so I don’t want to focus on heat use here. However, I do need advice on a couple of other issues.

A big problem and habit I have is pulling coarse hairs out, especially out of the back of my head. I’ve slowly been able to get myself to stop, but I have some small noticeable bald spots that I want to get rid of. I already do scalp massages daily, oil my head on wash days, and I’ve started using The Ordinary’s hair serum on my scalp at night. I know it will take a while for the bald spots to go away, so if anyone has any advice/recommendations/products that they think might be helpful, it would be greatly appreciated!

Another issue I have is length retention. Like I said, I already do daily scalp massages and oil my hair every wash day, but it’s not doing enough to keep up with the breakage. My hair is brittle and dry, so it is hard for me to combat breakage or see any length changes. I’ve been wanting to grow my hair out for years, so I have some experience with common hair growth advice (ex: silk bonnets/pillows, diet, drinking water, detangling, regular hair cuts). If anyone has additional advice or suggestions that have worked for them, please let me know!!

Thank you for reading if you made it this far. I don’t post on Reddit a lot, but I’m truly desperate for solutions. My hair is a little bit of sore spot for me because I’ve had problems with hair salons, feeling comfortable wearing my hair naturally, and over all enjoying the way my hair looks. I really want to over come this silly insecurity and improve the health of my hair, so send your good advice please 🙏

Is a Dyson Airwrap worth it? I have brittle and damaged hair

Hi people! I have really damaged hair, and I need some honest advice. I’ve always been experimental with my hair, starting when I was in middle school (I’m in college now). I’ve dyed it, cut it, bleached it, etc. multiple times, and I use heat on my hair almost everyday. My hair has always been thick and shoulder length, but I’m working to prioritize my hair’s health and length-retention. I style it in a blow out using the revlon one step volumizer, but the tool is pretty damaging to my hair. I’m looking for an alternative tool, and the Dyson Airwrap came to mind. I want to know people’s opinions and experiences with it before I decide to buy it.
