How do you get along as a DM if you’re a bad improviser?
My DM is out of town for the summer and I thought it might be fun to run a short Death House campaign. Most of DMing really appeals to me, but the one thing that’s concerning is how much I would have to talk. I’m straight up not good at speaking, it’s hard for me to conjure words or convert the imagery in my head into language. I did theatre for years and never got any better at spoken improv. If this was a block for you as a DM, how did you get over it?
