Hi , we are looking to fly from Delhi to Kathmandu and travel to Pasupatinath in August , we are a family with toddler and old age grand parents. We can only travel in August and not looking for hikings mainly cultural sites and family friendly places with kids.

I read all over on internet about the rain and monsoon in August, seeking suggestions, considering above should August travel be avoided or is it possible with focus on safety like landslides and highways ?
