Upgrading an old PC Help
I got a 15 or 16 year old PC for free and am trying to upgrade it to run some demanding games. My main questions are what parts should I upgrade and what are some good parts for those. My budget is 600 dollars however I could go higher if needed, the purchase of items would be from the US, the main games I want to be able to run with it are MSFS 2024, maybe nuclear option if possible and risk of rain 2 with at least 30 FPS. Currently it has 4 gb of ram at 800 MHz, CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q8300 @ 2.50 GHz, graphics card: ATI Radeon HD 4600 series, I will get all the other things in around a week when I crack it open but know everything is from that era. Edit: I see the comments are saying to replace it so thats probably what I'll do unless I see some good deals on completely new parts for everything
