BAD HOMEBUILDER BE AWARE COLLEGE STATION/MARK HOMEYER

Since purchasing our “new” home, we have dealt with issue after issue, including workmanship concerns, ongoing repairs, and now discovering hidden damage in our shower after a leak was found. Once the shower glass was removed, multiple cracked tiles were uncovered that appeared to have been previously covered up with caulking rather than properly repaired.

What has made this experience even more frustrating is constantly being made to feel like repairs are being done as some sort of “favor,” when in reality these are issues that should not be happening in a newly built home — especially while the home is still under warranty.

Homeowners should not have to fight to have legitimate construction and warranty concerns addressed properly. We invested a lot into what we believed would be a quality-built home, only to continue finding problems and dealing with the stress that comes along with them.

We strongly encourage anyone considering buying from this builder to do extensive inspections, document everything carefully, and fully understand what warranty support will actually look like after closing.

Very disappointed with the overall experience and the quality issues we’ve encountered.
