[product question] Vitamin C face wash with a copper pep serum after?
TLTR: Do I need to be worried about a vitamin C face wash interfering with a copper peptide serum, even though it’s a face wash and I rinse it off?
Hello! I just started using a copper peptide serum (The Ordinary brand). I read that you shouldn’t use vitamin c and copper peptides together at the same time because they cancel each other. I use a vitamin C face wash both morning and night, so now I’m wondering if they will cancel each other out. I figured I would be safe since it’s only a face wash and I rinse it off, but now I’m second guessing myself. The face wash uses Sodium ascorbyl phosphate as its Vitamin C ingredient (Image skin care vitamin C face wash) and then once my face is dry, I use the copper serum. At night I do the same thing but use The Ordinary retinol instead of the copper serum.
