FlixBus luggage swap - AMSTERDAM
Hi all,
I know this is a long shot but i really need help. I was traveling from Eindhoven to Amsterdam on the 3rd of June (10:10-11:45 AM) and someone took my suitcase instead of theirs. It is a small black suitcase, and it still had the airport baggage tag attached, including my name.
I’m convinced the other person also misses their suitcase as well since it was left on the bus. The driver wouldn’t give me a list of names of the passangers on the bus, so i have absolutely no idea who took it. I submitted the lost luggage form on the site 2 times, without a single reply. I know they have 14 days to overlook the case, but this is not a simple lost item situation, it is a swap. I also tried talking to costumer service twice but they are just pointing to Lost&Found Team, and told me to just wait the 14 days. Tried contacting Flixbus via email, but i also just recieved the most general automatic reply.
After looking at others passanger’s expieriences I am becoming more and more hopeless. Please don’t come at me with ideas on how I could’ve prevented this, i know an airtag would’ve been helpful, I know I should’ve gotten off at every stop, I am aware that this could’ve been avoidable.
However, if anyone has some helpful information, or former experience in this situation please share them with me.
