Has anyone else realised that caffeine affected their self talk?

It felt like for years whilst on caffeine I had almost no control over my self talk, just constant arguments in my head, hyper obsessions, constantly feeling stressed, unable to be present at all, extreme worry about life, horrible self talk etc etc.
I realise before caffeine this was way more limited

Caffeine makes me obsessively plan

It makes me plan obsessively, but I very rarely have the attention span, the regulated dopamine system or whatever it may be to actually follow through on whatever I’ve planned.

It’s crazy how hard following through on things I want do are, but even worse then that, I genuinely just end up in a crazy caffeine rush then comedown that makes my days zoom by and I don’t even think about anything long term.

Genuinely my ability to actually take myself out of my current cycles and commit to things that are less stimulating is cripplingly difficult but it’s not just because of lack of will, I truly just forget and I believe caffeine plays a huge role if not the biggest role for this

Does anyone else relate to this? Would love to hear your insights

I’ve struggled with focus and mindfulness

I genuinely believe that caffeine has had a significant affect on my ability to focus on one particular task. Not only that but it’s also made me maybe 10 fold if not even more susceptible to quick dopamine hits like scrolling and thus procrastination and wasting time. Leading me to almost never start the tasks i planned out to begin.

Not to mention the constant racing mind it gives you, you don’t notice how often your brain is brain is racing and not mindful of your surroundings when you drink caffeine but it’s probably the biggest or second biggest (behind excessive scrolling) cause of lack of presence in the moment. That causes a whole host of other issues. It’s just crazy how drinks can do this to someone, and you don’t even notice it.
The constant anxiety you feel with caffeine changes your life in many ways because you fundamentally become very different and so does your actions

The way caffeine affects your social life is something not spoken about enough

Your social relationships and interactions go a long way in your life, and having a substance that negatively affects it significantly without you realising can mean huge damage to your relationships that creep into so many other areas of your life.

We should list the benefits we’ve noticed from a social angle due to quitting, so we can be inspired further to quit.

Whenever I’ve stopped I noticed way less anxiety and overthinking, and a lot less brain l fog during interactions

Does caffeine ruin anyone’s else ability to focus on long term goals?

I feel like caffeine makes it significantly harder for me to focus on long term visions, days go by exceptionally fast on autopilot and there is a lack of ability to concentrate on things that will push me ahead

Can someone please explain how to get this to pop up?

When I search up a date and a location, nothing like this comes up, it simply says none available and then a few other locations get recommended for me to check out

How do people see such a screen?

Explain your social benefits

Hearing benefits about your social benefits would be amazing, if you became more charismatic and confident after stopping, more creative, less reserved and shy
Etc etc etc etc

And comparing it to your old caffeinated self

Am I the only one who has to scroll on their phone to wake up?

My phone is placed right beside my bed because thats the only place in my room with a charger
And most of the time if not every time it feels like I can’t wake myself up if I don’t scroll for the first 15 or so minutes of my day
It doesn’t even matter when I wake up
I hate that this is the case and want it to stop
Has anyone else dealt with this and if so has anyone resolved it?

How do you prevent burnout in the gym whilst working construction

How do you have the time and energy to workout and not feel burned out when doing this job?

Feeling complete CNS exhaustion and soreness is common for me working in this job, doing 9 hours of labouring and averaging over 20k steps a day just makes the gym feel impossible to progress in or even attend
