Planning to apply for the partner visa soon. We have been in an ldr for 2 years now and see each other every 3 months. I am preparing a checklist summarizing the documents my partner needs to provide from his end for the application. I understand we need to submit proof of accommodation as well. He currently lives with his family but he will be renting out an apartment for us. Does it matter how long my partner would have stayed in the new apartment when I submit my visa application? I read somewhere that he would need to have stayed there for a minimum of 3 months but i am not sure and would appreciate advice on this. Thanks!
