What’s the most “this should’ve been bigger” Arctic Monkeys song?

Been going back through the albums lately and man oh man, I forgot how many great songs get buried in the catalog.

That’s Where You’re Wrong might be one of their best closers, and I rarely see people bring it up. Same with Fire and the Thud and Too Much to Ask.

Wanna know some of y'all's? Some more personal faves of mine are Crying Lightning and Piledriver waltz.

What's the Most Underrated Queens of the Stone Age Song?

Everyone talks about:

  • No One Knows
  • Go With the Flow
  • Little Sister

But nothing else really 😞 For me it’s probably:

  • Misfit Love
  • The Bronze
  • In the Fade

Especially Misfit Love. Feels like every QOTSA fan has that song they swear is top-tier that casual listeners never mention. Curious what y'all think. I want to dive a bit deeper cause I just saw them live a bit recently and fell in love with them more.

The Bronze is #6, The Fade is #5, but Misfit love is #39 (big sad) here on this fan ranking platform: https://thehiddenjams.org/artists/queens-of-the-stone-age

What would NIN Sound Like if Richard Patrick Stayed?

Has anyone else ever wondered what Richard Patrick-era Nine Inch Nails would’ve sounded like if he stayed longer?

Not saying NIN needed him, because Trent obviously took the project to another level, but Richard brought a really raw energy to those early live performances. You can kinda hear the overlap between early NIN and what he later did with Filter.

Part of me thinks the band became more polished and cinematic after he left, but maybe lost a little of that scrappy live-wire feel, too.

Do you think NIN was better with Richard Patrick involved, or did things work out exactly how they should’ve? Also, what's a fave track of y'all's from that era?

NIN's Suggestions and Hidden Gems

Everyone talks about CloserHurtHead Like a Hole, and The Hand That Feeds, but NIN has such a ridiculously deep catalog beyond the big tracks.

A few of my suggestions ppl should check out:

  • At The Heart Of It All
  • The Downward Spiral (The Bottom)
  • A Violet Fluid
  • Closer To God

Curious what other fans suggest here. What’s the MOST underrated Nine Inch Nails song in your opinion?

Is Blockhead really underrated?

Does anyone else feel like Blockhead is insanely underrated?

I’ve been revisiting his stuff lately and forgot how good his albums are. The Music Scene still sounds incredible (duh).

Feel like a lot of people only know him from working with Aesop Rock, but his solo catalog is honestly peak.

“Carnivores Unite” and "Creepy Links" have been on repeat for me lately.

What’s everyone’s favorite Blockhead track/album?

I believe The Smashing Pumpkins has a catalog FILLED with Hidden Gems. Thoughts?

One thing I never realized about The Smashing Pumpkins is how many hidden gems are buried throughout their catalog outside of the obvious hits.

Everyone talks about “1979,” “Tonight, Tonight,” and “Bullet with Butterfly Wings” and rightfully so, but once you start digging deeper, there’s an insane amount of overlooked material. What’s wild is how diverse their catalog is, too.

My fave, more so hidden gems (not radio hits) are:

  • Muzzle
  • Galapogos
  • By Starlight
  • Tristessa

Curious what everyone else thinks are the most underrated Pumpkins tracks. What’s the one song y'all wish more people talked about?
