Do you want the Devil May Cry franchise to continue with games indefinitely like Resident Evil, or would you rather one final entry that has EVERYTHING in it and closes out everyone's character arc

While DMC 5 was perfect for me, if they are going to make another game, I'd prefer it'd be the last one. But, take the kitchen sink approach with it.

I know the list is unrealistic and not budget-friendly, I'm just spit-balling here...

  1. Give all characters unlockable costumes and weapons from all previous entries (specifically Dante).
  2. Make each level playable by any character in new game+.
  3. Make a Survival Mode as a new game mode apart from Bloody Palace.
    1. You play in an open arena similar DMC5 Mission 17 but not as big. Enemies start as Human difficulty but the longer you play, the enemies get gradually more difficult, capping out at H&H difficulty. You can choose between multiple arenas (downtown city, demon world, Dante+Vergil's home, etc.). This is also where REAL co-op could shine.
  4. Customizable taunt order if it stay connected to style rank.
  5. All previous battle music themes just like DMC 5 did.
  6. All major characters are present and playable, with a legitimate purpose in the plot (Dante, Trish, Lady, Nero, Vergil, and Lucia)
  7. Pull in cameos and locations for the supplemental material (Enzo, Bradley, Patty, Grue's cellar, etc).
  8. A "classic mode" and "definitive mode" option. Definitive mode maintains modern DMC5 gameplay mechanics revolving around gravity, inertia, reversal potential, etc. while Classic mode tweaks combat to reflect more of DMC4's gameplay mechanics. This can be toggled on/off. I couldn't care less about DMC4 vs DMC5 gameplay mechanics (I prefer DMC5's), but if CAPCOM went the extra mile to make this possible, they would make all corners of the fandom happy.
