How can I work out what power supply is needed for this device?
The documentation only says "9V or 12V DC desktop power supply": https://www.video-storm.com/proddetail.php?prod=CRM88. It has a barrel jack and there's a labelled power module of some kind on the board.
Please let me know if there are any more photos I can take or (safe) tests I can do (e.g. with universal power supply or multimeter).
As I understand it, what I need to work out is:
* Voltage
* Amperage
* Polarity
How can I work these out, and is there anything else I need to work out?
