It was after school when this happened. We had this puppy who was a month old and I was bored so I got up and went to go pick him up to pet him and snuggle him when he started squealing and crying. I totally froze because I didn’t know if he was hurt and my step dad came out of the room but before I could turn around he started attacking me, beating my back and side and kicking me down so I wouldn’t get up. He mumbled under his breath and it hit me he must’ve thought I did something to the dog. Luckily nothing broke and I remember not crying at all due to the shock. I was so heart broken and shook that I just went to the room. I never told anyone and still haven’t told anyone about this.
