I was in Chamonix in July for hiking. I loved it there and want to go back in the winter. I am not a skier or a snowboarder but I want to experience being in the mountain when there is snow, and I love snow shoeing. Has anyone done snowshoeing there? How did you do it? Are there companies who do multiday guided tours? How about companies that arrange half day or full day tours? And is snow guaranteed in early January?
