Basic decency

I know this might sound dramatic to some people, and I’m not trying to be scary or guilt-trip anyone. But I honestly think if you decide you no longer want to talk to someone on dating apps, the decent thing to do is at least say you’re leaving the conversation instead of suddenly disappearing.

You don’t even have to explain the reason. A simple “Hey, I don’t think this is for me anymore” is enough. It just feels more respectful than vanishing mid-conversation like the person never existed.

Maybe I’m old-fashioned, but basic courtesy still matters to me.
