Problem with SAMSUNG 34-Inch Curved OLED Odyssey G8
I seem to be having an issue with my SAMSUNG 34-Inch Curved OLED Odyssey G8.
Some context, i ended up doing a move this weekend, at my previous property i didnt seem to have any issues,
after setting up my computer at my new place i was using the monitor like normal watching some youtube videos before going to unwind and sleep. Suddenly the screen randomly turns black and there is no audio.
ive tried unplugging the micro display port because the monitor seemed to function as a tv prior, but with just the power cable plugged in it continues to stay black. I tried pressing the power button and moving the power "joystick" around and i can hear it make audio queues as if its trying to switch between stuff. but the screen stays black.
Ive tried unplugging the power and holding the power button for 30s, some have said this is a manual reset, but it doesnt seem to do anything.
Note ive also lost the white remote that it comes with during the move. If i were to buy a new one to replace it would that help me at all? or is the remote a red herring?
