Asking for your opinions
Hello everyone!
This is my first time posting, so I’m not entirely sure if this is the correct subreddit or if my question even makes sense.
I (27F) have been renting a room from this guy (38M) since the end of last year. We mostly live our own lives and only communicate when necessary.
However, lately I kind of feel like he’s more serious when communicating with me, almost as if he’s keeping me at arm’s length. There are times when he smiles and seems relaxed while talking to me, but most of the time it’s more like the first situation.
Compared to how he communicates with his friends online—which is completely understandable—and how he acts when other people (usually a friend of mine) are around, there’s a noticeable difference.
He just seems calmer when someone else is present, but I might be imagining the whole thing.
That’s why I’m asking the men of Reddit (and women as well) for their opinions and thoughts on this matter. I’m not really looking for a solution, since there isn’t a problem to fix. I’m just curious.
What are your thoughts on this?
