The first picture is of my natural hair…but I’m trying to decide on whether I should buy a blonde-ish color or more close to my natural color wig.
I tend to lean towards blonde when looking for hair, but I’m not sure which actually looks better! I honestly hardly buy brown wigs.
Which do you guys think looks better though: the blonde color or brunette color long wig?
The day I got pregnant/my birthday October 2023 (lol yes I know the exact date and just so happened to take a pic): Wash n go, daily pony tail, some conditioner and heavy gel usually, I would take the pony out and my hair would look like this. 5/10 happiness scale
6 months pregnant: I kept hair in braids a lot during this time, so I was prepping to do my twists with hair extensions. In this photo I had straightened my hair with only heat protection serum. 3/10 happiness scale
7 months pregnant: I had just taken my hair out of Senegalese twists and this was the result. Only lasts until I wash it again. 7/10 happiness scale
1 month postpartum: Used mousse, curl cream and conditioner. 8/10 happiness scale
Current day 2026: I’ve let it grow out way past my shoulders, with no coloring or heat, I use a Cantu Curl product (forget the name and too lazy to look lol), Suave Shine Spray, and occasional Garnier Fructise Mousse. Should probably trim it more than I have, and I have decent shedding (is that what it’s called? I feel like a cat..) everyday when I brush. I wear it down, natural, and put it up in a pony or bun rarely now. Haven’t worn braids or twists since pic #2. 10/10 happiness scale
