Found these growing on an elm log in my wood pile. I’ve never seen golden oysters before.
A spoon made by request. A little bit of CA glue and some sawdust to solidify the small knot in the bowl.

A beautiful piece of maple from my parent’s neighbors tree. The branch came down recently and I got it. I love the contrast between the heart and sap wood. This one is ready for the drying bin before final cuts and oil.

This is wild. These were not here or not noticeable a couple of days ago. I thought it was a dusting or fungus at first. Nope, it’s a bazillion tiny bugs.
