Hi all,

I'm a 27y old french girl and after 5years of working I'm finallt taking a sabbatical year to do what I always dreamt of: travel. Yayy!
I'm planning to go to Latin America to first take spanish lessons, and then travel around, and I'm currently hesitating a lot on where to go.

I heard Guatemala is safe and has good spanish school, but I will leave this September and it will apparently be the rainy season. Also Colombia was recommanded but I'm not sure how it is as a solo women.

Do you have any recommandations/advices on where to go as a solo woman ? I'm a bit concerned about safety, and I would love to be next to the sea, but also to meet new people.
