After 364 days of waiting, my PGWP was finally approved!
The biggest source of stress was realizing that I had forgotten to upload my language test results with my initial application. After realizing that, I submitted the test results through the webform on the same day, but I spent months worrying that the mistake would lead to a refusal.
Throughout the process, I called IRCC three times to confirm that the language test submitted through the webform had been attached to my application. I also contacted my MP’s office three times, and they were extremely helpful. They followed up with IRCC on my behalf and helped confirm that the webform document had been received and added to my file, which gave me some reassurance during the long wait.
For anyone in a similar situation, if you forgot to upload a required document but submitted it through a webform afterwards, don’t automatically assume your application will be refused. Every case is different, but in my case IRCC accepted the webform submission and approved my PGWP.
I’m still waiting for the physical work permit to arrive, but seeing the approval in my portal after a year was a huge relief.
Good luck to everyone who’s still waiting!
