Taking up GRIT

22F and recently completed my diploma (science related). Have been job hunting but to no avail. GPA not good enough so can’t get into uni, also financially not able to afford currently.

Found a GRIT in a large and reputable MNC but it is ~1.5hrs travel one way which is really quite far. They do offer 2 day wfh but was told that it would be subjected to approval.

The JD is something I am keen in, company is also very reputable and will look nice on resume. I have heard not so good things about GRIT programmes so I am a bit on the fence. I am currently in the interview stage but would this be worth it to take up if offered?

Anybody who can share their experience with GRIT would be great!

social media internship interview

hi, i have an social media internship interview coming up and i have no idea what to prepare. for context, my field of study is not related to media/marketing and i am taking up this internship to pivot as i have interest in social media marketing.

i have a tiktok account with a few videos focusing on fashion, beauty and lifestyle content with \~40k combined likes and a few “semi-viral” content.

this media company mostly does lifestyle/relatable content on tiktok, youtube and instagram. i have been asked in for an interview next week and was told to show and share more about the work i’ve done during the interview.

i have submitted a portfolio with some of my content alongside with my resume so i am not sure what else i can show when it is already in my portfolio. any advice?
