(Here's a mockup i made really fast [thats why it looks poorly made], now that I look at it again, it doesn't look that similar but I think it can help.)

I remember it was a simple platformer game I played a long time ago (probably on a tablet [and it was definitely android, not an ipad])

It had master system-like very saturated graphics and the player character probably had a red head (and his colors probably were the most basic colors, like red blue green yellow] and he reminds me of megaman for some reason, he probably could shoot.

It had a level select screen like red ball 4, and I don't remember any bosses. I remember it had a 8bit chiptune non copyrighted royalty free music playing in the background that I don't know the name or who made it but I remember pretty much how it sounded.

I don't remember if it was free or not, but it was on google play store and I don't think it exists there anymore.
