So I have backlogs in my first sem, nd I desperately need a hostel as it comes under education loan, I'm not registering for summer sem, what to do so that I get a hostel in the second year, anything would work. I also have a huge distance from my home, around 1500+ km.

My friend and I both got a backlog in ece in the first semester, but the new notice that came removed many backs, but kept many. So I thought maybe people who were 2-3 marks from passing got passed.

But somehow my friend passed even though he has lesser marks than me, does anyone have any idea why this happened??
