PLEASE HELP - so many questions as a potential transfer

Hello! I was recently admitted to CAS as a sophomore transfer. I have a few questions and hope someone here can help me so I can make a decisions

  1. Are transfer students only ineligible for aid the year they transfer in for, and will be granted need based aid (if applicable) for their remaining years at nyu, or are transfer students just not eligible for need based aid at all during their full time at NYU?

  2. Does NYU calculate the GPA you get at your previous institution into your NYU GPA, or

  3. I originally applied to stern and obviously I didn’t get in, would it be possible for me as a transfer to internally transfer next year as a junior into Stern?

  4. Can I get a minor at stern while being a student at CAS this coming year? As in fall 2026

Please help I’m so lost I have no idea how any of this works ˙◠˙ I’m happy I got accepted but the financial issue is huge and I don’t even know if it’s worth it for none stern
