2015 Dodge Dart GT Starting Issues
2015 Dodge dart with about 81,000 miles. Recently had some cooling system work done since when I got home from a vacation and turned her on she immediately began leaking coolant. Had that fixed. Shortly after I started having issues starting it up. I would get a single click and nothing would happen. Took it in to mechanic and of course they were not getting the same issue I was and said that the starter looked good but maybe was starting to fail. I had replaced the battery in 2024 and my remote battery about a week ago. The other day it drove fine all weekend and then when I go to turn it on on Monday it would not turn on or make a single noise. Engine did not turn over or anything. The radio etc would turn on. This time I saw a message I have never seen before: "Engine Warming, wait to start" could this still be an issue with the coolant system and maybe something wasn't connected properly? I pressed the start button maybe 10 times and finally gave up and just sat there. But literally after about 10 seconds from my last button push it turned on. Has anyone come across this issue or have any clue what it might be?
Edit to include that I’ve been doing some research and have come across some post that say to check the battery and ground wires. But would it really be possible my mechanic missed this when I took it in? I’m assuming they have a bunch of fancy machines to pick up on these things.
