Need Help, Fish In Cycle
I want to know how do I do water changes and when during fish cycle. I see mixed feedback of dont change water it ruins the cycle.
So I got a betta at petsmart and they got told me a 3 gallion tank, prime, heater, and gravel. Then they said the fish is ready to go in just accilmate. I started researching and realized that this was not how it was suppose to be done. So I bought alot of product and I am a little lost on how to keep the betta alive or manage the parameters. I got plants some hardscape for the beneficial bacteria and the betta to hide. I bought stability and dosing with prime daily.
Current parameters
Temp is 78-80
PH is 6.5-7ph
KH is either 40
GH is 120
Currently 0 nitrites and nitrates.
Cant test for ammonia until i buy a master kit today.
