Ex lying about medications he gave our toddler.

I apologize in advance for the formatting of this!

Our 2 1/2 year old daughter became sick this past Thursday evening and Friday morning I took her to the doctor. She was going to be with her Dad this weekend so I wanted to make sure we knew what was going on before she left. She has a viral infection and a double ear infection and was prescribed two meds, one being antibiotics and the other being allergy meds.
-Her father wanted to pick her up early and I’ve never said no to that, I asked him if he could pick up her medications from the pharmacy on the way into town, he lives three hours away, he accepts. He tells me he has a coupon for them and that his buddy works at that exact pharmacy, whatever, I think, just get the meds lol.
-We meet and she gets picked up, she’s still clearly very sick but I’m relieved we know why and that she’s got her prescribed medication.
-The first Friday night went by decently.
-That next day he texts me complaining that she won’t eat and she’s irritable. I say well of course, she’s sick. Her throat is probably irritated and she’s scared she’ll choke on her food while coughing, since she’s two and this is her first “real sickness”. I repeat the importance of hydration.
-he continued to text me, demanding I give him ideas on how to feed and deal with her. In my head I’m annoyed because Google is free; but of course I’m going to help him brainstorm, I say cold things like yogurts and popsicles and pickles. He says he’s going to take her to Walmart for socks because she wants them, I say that’s crazy since she’s sick, and to stay home. He insists it’s going to be quick and I push back, he agrees to keep her home.
-Saturday night he said she’s all bundled up and ready for bed, and that he thinks she’ll sleep way better that night.
-Sunday morning he says he didn’t get any sleep because she woke him up constantly coughing and wanting water and that she barely slept too. I said well she’s sick.
-He claims he wants to take her to the ER even though she has no fever, I say if he thinks she needs it then by all means please go!
-they say she’s mildly dehydrated but she’s okay.
-he drops her off hours early saying he has to leave or he’ll be fired and that he’s exhausted and will fall asleep on his long drive out of town for work if he didn’t leave then. I push back a little but ultimately take her because why argue when he’s made his point clear?
-I unpack her bag and find Walgreens brand 6-11year old allergy meds, I text him and ask what meds he’s been giving her. He explicitly says it was only the two prescribed meds and Tylenol. I ask why that’s in there and he says the pharmacist said it was okay, and that the doctors at the ER told him the same thing.
-I tell him I’m going to call the ER myself and ask, all of a sudden he’s sending a long paragraph about how people were in and out of the ER and there was “so much going on” that he can’t remember everything.
-ER disputes his claim and says they would NEVER tell him that was okay to do, that they would’ve prescribed her an appropriate allergy medication.
-I call him out and he says I’m just wanting to argue and that he doesn’t have the energy to fight with me, and that he’s worked more this week than I have in my entire life, which is random and irrelevant and just not true lmao.
-now his story is that the pharmacist consulted with him about it and said it was okay, so I’m waiting to hear back from the pharmacy on the validity of that story.

-I’ve been worried in the past about him putting her to sleep very early so he can get drunk with his buddies since he’s off work those weekends too. I had no proof other than mothers intuition, but with the wording from Saturday evening about how he thought it was going to go, I can’t help but think he gave her that so she’d be knocked out Saturday while he drank, then it had the adverse affect and caused her to be awake and irritated, hence why they’re both tired and she seemingly got worse after her doctors visit for a common viral illness.

Im super weirded out by what’s happened and so upset that all he needed to do was give her the prescribed meds. I find it alarming that he never mentioned buying the other meds, consulting the pharmacist, and then lied about the ER situation. Especially considering he hounded me about what food to give her, acting like he was super concerned she wasn’t eating, but never told me she was taking more meds other than what’s prescribed. Let alone meds for an older and way bigger child. Am I doing too much and if not/so what advice would others have for me? Has anyone else dealt with this or something similar? TIA
