I was interested in coding, learning low level systems and linux since childhood I had many personal projects and open source on github.

my_qualifications:
I took chem Engg in Jadavpur University because of my rank and was a first year dropper but now feeling not interested in the course and got a low sgpa of 7.04 in first semester. I gave JEE this year and got 97.15%ile ews rank 6.5k and 44k crl.

I have been selected in software team member of tech clubs too.
At my rank I am getting NIT Agartala EIE and CSE in NIT Northeast and Newer IIITs.
Is it worth dropping my current course with another year gap or is there some alternative ways?

Please help me out 🙏
