I got comments on my alt account about my main account, are they linked?!
Since insta made the update that our likes and comments are public, I made an alt account by adding an account to my main to like and comment freely, idr if it was a same or different email (probably same since I made it off my main acc) but I can login to my alt w just a diff username. I've gotten a comment w someone saying "You know we can see your main account right?" and another dm saying "Just reply from your main account and not your alt". I mustve mentioned that Ive a main and this is my alt maybe in some comments but is it really possible for my followers in my main account to see that Ive an alt and people who can see my alt can also see my main? Ive a completelt different name, pfp and no followers or following in my alt that shows who I am and both the accounts are private.
Also, when I searched it up here I saw few posts saying to immediately delete alts because if maybe the alt account or a comment made in the alt account is reported my main get in trouble too? My main account is really important to me and I dont wanna lose years of posts and things in it so please lmk because Id gladly give up my alt, either stop or delete it and maybe make a new one w a diff mail or whatever.
