S4 EP15 How did Schwartz get away with being called the “nice guy” for so long?
I’m rewatching the show and I just watched the scene where Stassi talks to Schwartz about trying to make amends with Katie. The way he calls her venomous and a bitch multiple times and just degrades her and then as soon as she starts crying he’s like “oh no… don’t cry stassi.”
And then when she says that everyone else has been forgiven except for her he says it’s because they have redeemable qualities?
Do I think that Stassi was great for cutting Katie off?
No, but I also understand her being upset that Katie was hanging with someone who’d laughed at her sex tape.
But the way Schwartz uses any opportunity he gets to degrade women and make them feel like shit and then tries to backpedal and play the nice guy when they’re upset. I don’t know how he’s gotten this nice guy reputation for so long because it’s truly gross. It’s like he was just waiting for the opportunity to call Stassi a bitch again. THE ICK I have for this man.
EDIT: and then the very next episode Sandoval is acting like he’s morally superior to Stassi and saying “that bitch is homeless”. I forgot how INSUFFERABLE these men are.
