I’m getting sued by portfolio recovery for a credit card I couldn’t pay back in 2020. I am recently separated and didn’t even see the summons until now and my court date is the 26th of this month. I called today and asked to settle for a VERY low amount(I figured they wouldn’t agree) but it is quite literally all of the money I have and I don’t have any income. What do I do? I’m a newly single mother and have no wages but I worry about them messing with my exs wages since I’m still on his bank account. They want to set up payments but I have no income…… what do I do? I can’t pay the whole amount or even close to half
